Basic Life Support

The American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support class is designed for healthcare professionals both in and out of a hospital setting. Participants are trained to promptly recognize several life-threatening emergencies, give high-quality chest compressions, deliver appropriate ventilations, and provide early use of an automated external defibrillator(AED).

What you will learn

Training Delivery Methods

Basic Life Support is available in two different training methods, classroom learning and blended learning. All Basic Life Support training methods teach the same AHA science-based skills, resulting in the same AHA Class Completion Card.

Classroom Learning

Classroom Learning is the traditional learning method. Enjoy face-to-face learning interactions while mastering your skills with our expert instructors.

Blended Learning

Save time with Blended Learning. Learn class content online at your leisure and sharpen your skills with a face-to-face hands-on skill session.

Certificate Earned

Class Completion Card

Upon successful completion of all class requirements, you will receive a Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate card. Certificates are issued through the American Heart Association (AHA) and are valid for 2 years.
